Winter Guard/Indoor Drumline

Winterguard: a competitive activity that encompasses areas of dance, color guard and auxiliary equipment into a five minute production. These productions are done with costumes in gymnasiums that are performed on tarps that take up a basketball court. In 2019 WestPo Winter Guard competed within the Atlantic Indoor Association circuit. The umbrella organization for all winter guards and indoor percussion units is Winter Guard International (WGI). Indoor Drumline:  a competitive activity focused on drumline but that also includes other instruments.

Winter Guard and Indoor Drumline are year to year activities based on interest level and staffing. Both of these activities require a commitment to rehearsal time and are very rewarding and fun! During 2022-23 we have Indoor Drumline and Winter Guard!
